How to Beat Bin Laden: How Osama Bin Laden operates - and what it will take
to defeat him, BY TONY KARON, Time, Sept. 14, 2001
- Thank You, You're Welcome.
American has long been THE beacon of hope for the world - hope for a peace-filled, prosperous world where individuals delight in lives filled with dignity, honor, and respect. We can turn America's tragedy into the world's triumph or we can turn America's tragedy into worldwide despair. Let America's response to the events of the past week be used to bring peace, dignity, prosperity, and freedom to the peoples living in the areas of oppression and darkness where the hatred for America and Americans, hatred which enabled those men to perform such outrageous acts, was spawned and nurtured. Just as the Americans, British, free-French, Chinese, and Russian troops, and troops from nations around the world freed vast tracts of Europe from Hitler's grip and vast portions of Asia from the grip of the Japanese during WW II, and just as the Marshal Plan rebuilt much of western Europe and Japan, including those countries who were once our enemies, after the war, together earned America the honor and affection of many peoples, freeing the peoples in the lands today occupied by tin-pot dictators, some of our own creation, and rebuilding those countries' shattered economies, will earn for the US the honor and affection of their people. In the end, this is the only policy that will provide an effective, long-term means of preventing international terrorism.

Sunshine for Women encourages you to support our feminist sisters by purchasing their books, reading them, disseminating the ideas they contain, but most especially, by making their book available to our sisters, our daughters, and the community at large by requesting your school library, your public library, and area bookstores to carry their books. Remember it is not enough to write literature, history, and theology, we must pass these works on to future generations. Help us to preserve these works for a new generation by putting them on library bookshelves.
