Plays

From time to time, I have received requests for information on plays of particular interest to women on a variety of subjects. At other times, I have received information on plays of interest to women on a variety of topics from social issues (such as child molestation) to women's history.

The plays referenced here are suitable for local community theaters. Some of the plays listed here are the property of the performers who earn their living by presenting their plays. Other plays listed here are the property of the playwright and are available for non-commercial use either for a nominal fee (to cover the cost of reproducing the script plus postage) or for free. Both types of plays can be used to bring important information to the larger community and as a fund-raising source for local civic groups.

Sunshine for Women encourages you to support our feminist sisters by purchasing their books, reading them, disseminating the ideas they contain, but most especially, by making their book available to our sisters, our daughters, and the community at large by requesting your school library, your public library, and area bookstores to carry their books. Remember it is not enough to write literature, history, and theology, we must pass these works on to future generations. Help us to preserve these works for a new generation by putting them on library bookshelves.
